Purpose

Grow Groups have one simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in community, and that we experience the full life He intends when we do.

Meaningful relationships can be hard to find. Grow Groups make them accessible and relevant to you.

Larger and smaller at the same time

At Richardson, we believe our church must grow larger and smaller at once. We grow larger to reach as many people as possible with the life-giving message of Jesus. We gather in Grow Groups to build community and care for people.

We are a church of small groups, not a church with small groups. Our model is based on the early church in the book of Acts, where meetings in homes helped lay the foundation for remarkable growth.

“Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.”

What makes our group different

Close to home. Groups are strategically placed near where you live. It’s much easier to commit to a group down the road than a Bible study 40 minutes away.
Three questions, every time. Each meeting, we ask:
1. Where are you thriving in your spiritual life?
2. What has been distracting you from experiencing God?
3. How are you serving others?
These questions build depth within the group over time.
